Gautam pisharody

Gautam pisharody is a casting director working for the Hindi cinema. Based in Cochin, he is an assistant director at artist feature film under motion pictures. Besides this, he is also a video filmmaker and creative producer. While speaking about his education, Gautam tells that he did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya in 2004 and completed his graduation as a bachelor of technology in electronics and communication engineering in 2008 from Jawaharlal Nehru technological university.

For his master’s he went to symbiosis institute of media and communication and did post graduation in audiovisual production till 2012. Gautam also worked as a volunteer with a group of four other’s at SOS children’s village, trishur, Kerala in October 2010. He along with the group had spent time with the students for about ten days discussing topics related to career, use of technology in academics, organizational skills, etc. He shot his first short promo film here which showed the life of children at the village.

Following this in January 2011 he shot a documentary film on the state of rivers of Pune and the possibility it offers a mode of transport if restored. Again in February 2011 he helped in the production of solidarity and also acted in it. He even proved his skills as a cameraman in another short film invisible crime of March 2011. Next, he edited a short film in December titled Amor brutal. Another project which he was a part of was naan varuven which is a Tamil short picture on which he worked as an assistant director for the first time.

Next, he wrote, directed and edited intoxication that released in March 2012. Before starting his career as a full-time filmmaker, Gautam worked as a junior associate copyeditor under crimson interactive private limited for a year. Later he joined Sony entertainment television for two months and did the job of a production assistant on the show extra innings T20, IPL season 4.

In 2012 he again did the job of a production assistant during IPL season 5 for two months. He did the work of an assistant director on the series of five ad films directed by Vishnu Shyam Prasad and produced by Nirvana films for the brand decathlon. Further, he assisted the same production house on a campaign of two ad films for another brand maiyya. Presently residing in Thiruvananthapuram, he is working on a feature film titled artist for Sunitha productions.

Gautam has also worked as assistant/ associate director with many famous Malayalam film directors and also acted in movies and serials He was assistant director to Mr Syam Prasad s film Artist; Lijojose s Amen;;Anjali Menon s Banglore days and Koode…to name a few. .He was also acted as a model in a recently released jewellery Advertisement .He was also there in Laljose film Vikramadutyan as a support actor
