Dr. Sandeep Unnikrishnan featured in Dutch Link Magazine Sep 24 issue.
Dr. Sandeep Unnikrishnan is S/o Thalayannakad Pisharath Unnikrishnan & Karalam Kainila Pisharath Santha. He did his PhD and MBA in the Netherlands and made his initial debut as a Scientist at the quasi-governmental Dutch organization – TNO. After about 12 years, he chose to leave TNO to fulfill his dream of being an Entrepreneur. With the support of TNO he co-founded a deep-tech Dutch start-up ‘LionVolt’ as one of its Directors in the year 2020 and became the CTO (Chief Technology Officer).
LionVolt (www.lionvolt.com) focuses on developing nanotechnology based next-generation batteries to address the needs of the emerging electric age. He continues to give priority to research and innovation to realise a cutting-edge solution for future battery applications. LionVolt has recently expanded its operations to the UK by acquiring a battery factory in Scotland.
Recently Dutch ‘Link Magazine’ journalists have interviewed (in Dutch language) several entrepreneurs including Sandeep, who was selected to be featured on the cover-page of the magazine!
Regarding Sandeep’s family: Dr. Jalaja Kizhakkepat Pisharam (practicing dentist in the Netherlands) and two daughters Aradhya (11 years old) & Manisha (5 years old). Sandeep’s sister Sindhu and family are settled in Bangalore.
