ACTIVITES
Granting awards to children of members, who are top in the Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations, Educational help to children of financially backward members, medical aid to deserving members etc.
Palakkad unit has been co-operating with the center Samajam in all its activities and it is one of the top units, who mobilized maximum percentage collection against the target, towards Guruvayur Guest House fund. Palakkad branch has played a vital role in the center’s Tsunami fund, “House for Homeless” scheme and all other welfare activities.
Two members were given training in production of “Swadeshi” soap items and commercial production of these items is gathering momentum.
This branch has plans to conduct medical aid camps, pilgrimage trips and Sanskrit teaching classes etc. at the earliest.
